This is such a terrific class! Carolina’s clear instructions and demonstrations allow you to create your own design using curves. She explains basic color theory concepts to guide you as you choose fabrics to create transparencies. She also includes directions on how to baste, quilt and add a facing to your curvy quilt. I loved the inclusion of student samples, too! I highly recommend this video.

Straightforward to follow and supportive. Satisfying and beautiful piecing is made achievable even for those who may never have made a quilt before.

This class was so fun and informative. Karolina is extremely clear and gave me so many ideas that are utilized in making a quilt and I plan to do more. I think I should take some more for classes although I’ve also taken one other . She is very inspiring and I highly recommend this class

I have been quilting for a long time and still learned many tips and tricks in this class. I’ve been wanting to try more improvisational and modern quilts, and this is a great launch pad. Carolina is a born teacher. Signing up for another class now!

I watched your class yesterday and let me tell you the way you explained color was amazing!!! I have had others explain color but you, you made it so simple to understand!!! It was like a light bulb finally went on. The way you actually used color fabric to explain the color wheel is what really made things click with me. That visual with you explanation was so clear!!! I think, no I KNOW I can go forward now with confidence when picking out colors rather than just going “ok I like that color and this one.” and just hope they work ok.
Thank you so very much!!! I can’t wait to get started.
    Carolina is a wonderful teacher!!!!
