Carolina has a simple yet unique method for cleanly inserting, rather than appliqueing, organic shapes. If you have struggled to produce flat, clean curved shapes into your sewn work, I recommend this very affordable tutorial!

This was an excellent demonstration of this technique. The instructions were clear and presented at a good pace. The end showed some examples of this technique in quilts and close ups of the quilting. I’m excited to start experimenting with these non-traditional shapes in my quilts!

Brilliant technique! I’m hearing impaired, but I’m able to understand Carolina well — she speaks clearly and slowly.
Now to put aside work so that I can go and play!
Thank you!

Carolina does an excellent job explaining and showing how to piece organic shapes. Her technique is easy, her explanations are clear and she demonstrates every step of the process as she goes. I highly recommend her courses and am so grateful for her willingness to make this an asynchronous class!

Clearly described and every step is shown in detail. Great camera angles so you can see everything you need to be able to learn the technique. Although I have used a similar technique previously, small tips were given throughout that will improve my work! The quilt examples are lovely and inspiring.
