For the first time this year, I’ve decided to participate in #THE100DAYPROJECT which has been taking place for 6 years now in spring (for the northern hemisphere). But, what is it about? For a hundred days you commit to explore your creativity, choosing a project and then doing it in 100 days.
Everyone can participate! And this year I encouraged myself on doing it…
I defined my project like this:
The challenge consists in designing/drawing every day one quilt.
Every morning (if possible) I will post a picture of the drawing. I will only work with colored pencils and white paper. The format is square and the size of the paper will be 4’’ X 4’’. For the design, I will have 20 minutes per day maximum.
And like that I have been doing it, it is a big challenge from which I have been learning a lot, for example, the importance of having limits to create, having boundaries where you can move and creating is key to not getting overwhelmed by the infinite amount of possibilities. For me, that is the limits of materials with which I create (a limited amount of colored pencils and a predetermined size for the paper).
A big hug to everyone
