Hello quilting enthusiasts! Carolina Oneto here, and I am beyond excited to share with you an amazing event that is coming up in the beautiful region of Alsace, France.
The European Patchwork Meeting in Alsace is a yearly gathering of quilters from all over Europe (and the world) coming together to celebrate their love for patchwork and quilting. This event has a rich history, dating back to its inception in the small town of Sainte Marie aux Mines. The origins of the Carrefour Patchwork date back to the early 1990s when a group of passionate quilters decided to create a space where they could showcase their work and share their love for this craft with others. Since then, the event has grown in size and popularity, attracting quilters from all corners of the globe.
I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in this year’s European Patchwork Meeting in Alsace as both a workshop instructor and a juror for the annual contest. The theme for this year’s event is “Oceans,” and I am honored to be a part of such a creative and inspiring gathering.
While my 4 day’s retreat “Imaginary Landscapes” is already sold out, there are still spots available for the workshops that I will be teaching at the meeting. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of quilting or a seasoned pro seeking to expand your skills, there is something for everyone at the European Patchwork Meeting in Alsace.
As a quilter myself, I understand the power of creativity and community that comes from being a part of events like this.
