The Inca legend of the eclipse
At the beginning of time, Viracocha (Inca God creator) create two stars to illuminate the universe it to allow life in it, these stars were the sun and the moon. One would mark the arrival of day and the other of night when man inhabited the earth.
The sun and the moon fell deeply in love until one day it was time to create the division between day and night, thus the sun and the moon must have separated.
The God upon learning that the moon was so sad, decided to create a unique moment where the two stars could be together, this moment was called Sun Eclipse.
From that moment the sun and the moon shine with hope, waiting for that magical and rare moment in which they can stay together in the sky and love each other.
